How we work with the law
Facts about your documents. Advice only from people allowed to give it.
New Zealand's Immigration Advisers Licensing Act says anyone giving New Zealand immigration advice must be licensed, even if they work from overseas. Lawyers and a few other groups are exempt, and so are people outside New Zealand who advise only on student visas.
What Pravas does
- Builds your document checklist from INZ's published requirements
- Checks photo and scan quality
- Compares names, dates and numbers across your documents
- Does the arithmetic on funds using INZ's published rates
- Flags documents it can't verify
What Pravas doesn't do
- Tell you which visa to apply for
- Tell you how to answer INZ's questions
- Predict INZ's decision
- Decide whether your evidence is enough
Who helps with decisions
Licensed New Zealand immigration advisers, for any visa. For student visas only, Pravas counsellors working from India, as the law allows.
